Dahab can be found on the Sinai Peninsula,
approximately 100 km in the north of Sharm-el-Sheikh at
the Gulf of Aqaba. There are four districts - an old one,
which is inhabited by bedouins, one with a promenade and
hotels and one administrative district with post and
bank. The districts are called Assalah, Massbad,
Maschraba and Madena. The hotels, as well as most dive
spots are in the north and in the south of Dahab.
Dahab is one of the most beautiful oases on the Sinai
coast. A lot of small restaurants on the promenade
invite for a stay. The coral reef is a fringing type (directly
at the coastline) and therefore reached easily from the
beach.
